Patent infringement: A system to interface a central monitoring computer with remotely located control systems. The invention included independent detection of process conditions to initiate communication with a central system using a variety of wired and wireless links, including simple pager communication links.
The invention also included a system to contact a remote control system from the central station to modify the operating conditions of the remote system and the connected process.
