Patent Infringement: High Speed Computer Simulator

Patent infringement: A system using small computers to simulate high speed processing and transactions within and among mainframe and super computers. Typical applications include computer-to-computer data transfers, multiprocessing systems, and high volume call centers such as those used in airline reservation systems.

The patent infringement issues focused on configuration of the simulation computer(s) which created and tracked mainframe messages and storage in real time. The hardware and software modifications of the standard personal computers included memory managers, network interfaces, and software components designed to mimic those of mainframe and super computers.
